About

"Creativity provides the vision; economics provides the path."
I specialise in navigating the intersection of artistic excellence and organisational strategy. My expertise span orchestral executive management, overseeing large-scale productions, fundraising, contract design and negotiations, and driving revenue growth. Most recently, I successfully led the transformation of a local volunteer-led orchestra into a professional charity. These experiences enable me to effectively bridge the gap between creative vision and building a financially sustainable organisation.
I hold a Flute Performance Diploma from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), and studied with Roberto Alvarez of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. I have performed with the NAFA Symphony Orchestra and Wind Orchestra, the Philharmonic Youth Wind Orchestra, Singapore Wind Symphony, Anglo-Chinese School Wind Orchestra, NTU Symphonic Band, in addition to numerous community-led ensembles. I am also a freelance instructor, with experience teaching and assisting school symphonic bands across Singapore.
Prior to my studies at NAFA, I graduated with a Bachelor of Economics with Distinction from Nanyang Technological University. My professional experience in finance, investments and consulting provides me with a unique, multi-disciplinary perspective in my contributions to the Singapore performing arts landscape.
